I know there are some Swell Seasons fans around... but any Frames fans?

This is "What happens when the heart just stops" live from the elevator.

I've become totally obsessed with this song... and lately with Glen Hansard. Can't believe I had issues with his voice in the past. The Swell season show I've been to some weeks ago did the magic. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. Heart Heart
Massive massive massive Frams fan and about time Glen got back to basics as the SS stuff I think has sailed its course now. I travelled from the isle of Man to a place called Telluride for what would have been their only show in 2008 (subsequently got a Neil Young supp slot in Cork but didnt have any money by then!
For any newbies Setlist is prob the best Best of and its all live tracks so you get the banter on stage Glen is famed for. It also rocks pretty well!
There are some vids I took at Telluride here:
Hey Day(Mic Christopher cover) http://www.youtube.com/user/triskel08#p/u/5/Q5tcCCA7GLE
Astral Weeks (Van Morrison cover) http://www.youtube.com/user/triskel08#p/u/6/7Hn3KziihdQ
They are reforming for their 20th Anniversary this year and presently the only announced show is at the wonderful funky Electric Picnic festival in Co Laois they played about 5 years ago. Its my 4th year there and its fab! http://www.electricpicnic.ie
I love the Frames, seen them a few times, fantastic live band. Their best album (IMO) is Dance The Devil, possibly Fitzcarraldo. Check out the songs Revelate, Fitzcarraldo, Star Star**, Plateau, Red Chord, Say It To Me Now and the original version of Falling Slowly from the album The Cost.

Also, slightly related to The Frames, check out the movie "Once" starring Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (who knew each other before filming and afterwards formed The Swell Season)
