Review of I Choose This
Paul du Noyer (trust me kids, he's a legendary rock journalist) has written a column on 'climbing Mount Fame' in Word magazine this month in which he goes ever so slightly gooey over I Choose This

You'll have to buy the mag for the whole thing but here's a few highlights:

"Ford's memoir deserves to be picked up by a major publisher and then issued to every Fame School student across the land. It's a tale of hard work and heartache, packed with details."

"If someone has a true vocation then this book is not intended to put them off. But it's a wonderful cautionary warning."

"David Ford, who has seen all this and still writes damn good songs, writes well of the real-world musician's life."

Pretty cool, huh?

Not there yet......... I think????!? Eagerly waiting! Wink

David seemed more than ready to move on from the book in Brighton... looks like it won't be that easy. Rolleyes It would be great to have a nice buzz growing around the book.

PS: isn't there a way to write something about the book on the home page of this website? So that people not familiar with David Ford can easily find a way to buy a copy...?

While we're on the subject of the mighty Word, anyone know who Captain Underpants is on there? I get the feeling it's someone from here? They know me, certainly.

I thought it might be, but wasn't sure. I wasn't clear on who might be making such kind remarks about my photography. Wink
